About Us

Tee Times Golfer was founded in 1992 by Joey Smith and distributed primarily in the middle Tennessee area. Joe and Carol Hall bought the publication in 2002. It became a 24-page tabloid published nine times per year – March through November.

Since then, Tee Times expanded its distribution to the surrounding states and soon became a popular source of golf news and information in the Southeast. Tee Times includes articles about area and regional golf tournaments, covering both amateur and professional events. It also features golf courses, golf destinations, and news from the surrounding golf associations and different state PGA sections.

Tee Times is a member of the Golf Writers Association of America, Golf Travel Writers, and we maintain this website, teetimespaper.com. We have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We also provide a weekly newsletter to our database of golfers.

Tee Times sponsors and produces The Nashville Golf Show, a consumer golf show held in February each year that draws numerous golf exhibitors, and thousands of golfers to the three-day show.

Tee Times welcomes freelance articles and story ideas. Send story ideas and submissions to teetimesgregg@gmail.com or pgegolf@bellsouth.net.
